Jumeirah is a district of Dubai.

Jumeirah is one of the oldest, largest, and most beautiful residential areas along the coast of Dubai.

This lush coastal area provides guests and residents with not only an exuberant lifestyle but many great destinations.

‘Jumeirah’ means ‘Beautiful’ in Arabic, and this title was definitely given to this residential district for a good reason. Before Dubai began its journey to becoming one of new most futuristic cities in the World, Jumeirah was a favorite place both for western expatriates and locals to live. Today, it is home to such iconic hotels, as Burj Al Arab and Madinat Jumeirah, Mandarin Oriental, as well as a number of others.

Furthermore, Jumeirah is famous for its shining public beaches, like Kite Beach and La Mer. Besides Mercato shopping mall, there is a good variety of other shopping areas, independent stores, boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants, as well as two post offices, several bank branches, two hospitals and a variety of medical and dental clinics.
