Jebel Ali

In the past, Jabal Ali was a small coastal village located 40 kilometers west of the capital of the emirate, Dubai. Currently, it is practically adjacent to the rapidly expanding city.

In the late 1970s, work was launched in the desert of Jebel Ali to create the largest artificial harbor in human history. Now the port area of Jebel Ali has harmoniously blended into the urban infrastructure.

At first glance, this place is just an industrial area, built around the main port of Dubai. However, a lot of interesting things are hidden behind the unsightly facade.

The largest resort complex in Dubai, JA The Resort is located here, its territory stretches along its own 800-meter beach, this resort has a variety of recreational facilities, including its own marina, a standard 9-hole golf course (on which famous Tiger Woods himself played!), Equestrian and shooting clubs, confirming its elite status as the only full-fledged resort in Dubai.

Other attractions in Jebel Ali include the unique Ibn Battuta Mall, named after the famous Arab traveler Ibn Battuta, and the Jebel Ali Recreational Village, built in the late 1970s, with atmospheric restaurants and cozy cafes.
