Dubai Media City is strategically located right next to the iconic Dubai Marina and across the road to the vibrant Barsha Heights. Established in January 2001, Dubai Media City was to establish Dubai as the region’s leading media hub – which it successfully did in the subsequent years. Today, more than 24,000 professional and 1,600 business partners have found their place in Dubai Media City.
DMC encompasses a large media community of over 20,000 people working in over 2,000 regional and international media companies that are pushing the limits of creativity every day. It is a home to a large number of regional offices for global news and tech companies (like Reuters, CNN, CNBC, MBC, Sony, Showtime), as well as a large open-air Amphitheater that hosts regular international music acts and food festivals.
Dubai Media City is a place where various media businesses coexist and operate together – media and marketing services, printing and publishing houses, music & film production, various tech startups, leisure and entertainment, broadcasting, event and information agencies.
