Located in the center of Madinat Jumeirah Resort, Souk Madinat Jumeirah represents a bazaar in traditional Middle Eastern style with stalls & restaurants under the wooden covered arcade surrounded by lush gardens. It is designed to resemble a traditional Arabian town.
Today, Souk Madinat Jumeirah has about 75 shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes combining Arabian traditional souk stands, barrows and stalls with a blend of boutique brands, souvenir gift shops and luxury fashion and jewelry outlets. In addition, it offers a magnificent view of the winding water canals of the resort.
Nearby Madinat Theater hosts many bright performances. With its seamless transport options and perfect setting, visitors can enjoy a five-kilometer journey along the winding Madinat waterways or even have a look at the iconic Burj Al Arab by abra – a traditional Emirati boat.
With over 25 restaurants, serving drinks and international cuisines, there are several pitstops for a coffee, a light lunch, or a memorable dinner against the beautiful backdrop of Old Dubai. Provided visiting at night, the Souk comes alive with a variety of exciting musical acts and entertaining activities.
Souk Madinat Jumeirah offers a variety of bars – Belgian Café, Trattoria, Americano, The Noodle House, McGettigan’s or Perry & Blackwelder’s that will provide ladies’ night and themed events.
Families with kids can enjoy delicious sweets at ice cream parlors – Fruteiro do Brasil, or Gelato Divino while walking through the winding passageways.
