The Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival (RAKFAF) is delighted to announce that it returns next month for its 9th edition, helping launch the UAE’s 2021 art calendar. The annual arts festival, which was established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, will open to the public on Saturday, 6 February and run until Saturday, 3 April 2021.

The newly launched farmer's market for fresh fruits and vegetables at the Pointe in Palm Jumeirah is a wonderful opportunity to grab your weekly share of local organic produce! Brought together by young Emirati entrepreneurs who sell directly to customers to help enhance the awareness and importance of food sustainability.

The Ripe Market is a dedicated community to support SME businesses, unique local food companies, artists and craftsmen comprising of both live cooking stations and take-home retail items including locally grown organic fruit and vegetables, household items, clothes and hand-made pieces.

Every Friday & Saturday, Academy Park will be welcoming guests for a new edition of outdoor Ripe Market, with seasonal organic fruit and vegetables, freshly baked bread, yoga classes, kids’ activities, a petting zoo, horse riding, workshops, live music - all coming with adherence to preventive measures.

The exhibition is set to feature a cohesive body of work that blends Hiwa K's humor with his personal experience. His collection will explore ideas of estrangement, collectivity, histories of neoliberalism and shadow of the multiple conflicts waged on and in Iraq, particularly in his home city of Sulaymaniyah.

Growing Like A Tree represents many firsts for the Ishara Art Foundation. This exhibition marks Sohrab Hura’s inaugural curatorial project as a photographer and filmmaker along with the presentation of several artists and collectives never before shown institutionally in a regional and international context. The exhibition will be on view at Ishara Art Foundation from 20 January 2021 to 20 May 2021.

"Contact High: A Visual History of Hip Hop" is a new photography exhibition expressing the power of hip-hop. It gives fans of this genre an inside look at the work of big-name hip hop photographers as told through albums, photographs, magazine covers, and memorabilia ranging over 4 decades. The photographs will be displayed alongside original contact sheets, which will give an intimate look that is rarely seen by the public.
