Hope is the theme for The 9th edition Fine Arts Festival in Ras Al Khaimah which represents a quote from the famous author Emily Dickinson “Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul”.
The annual festival will exhibit the work of more than 130 artists from 49 countries with diverse backgrounds and stories curated around the theme of Hope. The purpose of the art is to look forward during these unprecedented times with hope. Each work will resemble the importance of hope, where it can be found, and how it can be shared amongst connections.
For the first time, this year the festival will combine events with The Arts Centre at NYU Abu Dhabi and Art Dubai to showcase the development of the arts and cultural community across the Emirates. This event will take place in check with all the Covid-19 health and safety guidelines. The art exhibition will also be shown at two new locations this year in an attempt to widen the festival’s reach: Jebel Jais and Al Marjan Island.
The future of the arts community in the UAE is bright with the help of the RAK Fine Arts festival where talent and fine work are encouraged, acknowledged, and showcased with the “Hope” of a wider cultural collaboration, commitment, and development.
