Every weekend delivers on a promise of unforgettable excitement during Winter Nights @ JBR. Few heartier celebrations await to commemorate 50 extraordinary years of the UAE than what JBR has in store. On December 2, while stilt walkers strut their stuff up and down the 1.7-km promenade and the local marching band play to the beat of their vivacious drums, an Arabic storyteller will spin remarkable tales to have you hanging onto every word. Take a deep dive into Emirati folklore and enjoy all the buskers dousing the district in dazzling colors from 6pm to 9pm on December 2, and don’t miss the sky light up with an effervescent firework show.

For more soaring theatrics, witness live drone shows in honor of the Dubai Shopping Festival starting December 16. Come at 7pm or 9:30pm to drop your jaw at the incredible technological choreography that will embellish the evening sky every day throughout the six-week retail extravaganza.

When one festivity ends, another one begins with little delay—marked by the arrival of Santa Claus. He’s dashing through the sand aboard a sleigh packed with festive cheer and his trusty elves to a snowy grotto on December 23 and 24. Have your little one’s wish list ready to share from 5pm to 9pm and scope out the district for live carols and croons by a festive music group.

Winding down all the winter action with one grand hurrah is a New Year’s Eve in true Dubai style. Spend the last day of 2021 at JBR starting with a mouthwatering stack of pancakes at IHOP, a wholesome lunch at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and a stylish dinner affair at Noodle House. From 6pm onwards on 31^st December, iridescent routines by neon dancers and mirror dancers will light up the night, paired with energizing melodies courtesy of a roaming musician. And if that isn’t dazzling enough, come early to grab a patio seat at one of our food stops for front-row seats to a jaw-dropping display of fireworks.
