As well as an intimate dining area and open kitchen, folly has two outdoor terrace bars, both featuring stunning views over the Madinat waterways.
Jumping on the ubiquitous “sharing” trend, the menu consists of 24 small plates (plus desserts), all served to the center of the table, and each dish containing a maximum of four ingredients, designed to show off-flavor and technique.
Dishes include monkfish cheeks with paprika and salted lemon, smoked clams with lemongrass, Omani shrimp with marjoram and lime gremolata, barbecued pigeon with tarragon succotash, and king crab with basil and seaweed.
