Upcoming 5 March Events in UAE

Organized under the umbrella of Dubai Sports Council, in association with Dubai Municipality and FittGROUP, the 50km Al Marmoom Ultramarathon will take place on Friday, March 5 in Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve. The event will also offer two shorter races of 10km and 5km, and all three races will take runners into the desert on hard and soft sand, including across and over sand dunes.

Participants can choose from four different courses as offered by the event. It will take the contestants of the half marathon (21.1km) and 10km course through palm treed villages, up to the beautiful blue waters of the reservoir and dam with the majestic Hajar mountains in the distance, as well as challenge them with few hills to increase the heart rate.

The Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival (RAKFAF) is delighted to announce that it returns next month for its 9th edition, helping launch the UAE’s 2021 art calendar. The annual arts festival, which was established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, will open to the public on Saturday, 6 February and run until Saturday, 3 April 2021.

The exhibition is set to feature a cohesive body of work that blends Hiwa K's humor with his personal experience. His collection will explore ideas of estrangement, collectivity, histories of neoliberalism and shadow of the multiple conflicts waged on and in Iraq, particularly in his home city of Sulaymaniyah.
