Most recently, the area was largely deserted, with nothing but crumbling traditional coral and adobe houses. Now it is home to some of Sharjah’s top attractions. Some old buildings are now being restored, creating a historical heritage.
The first interesting place here is the embankment of an artificial Al Qasba canal. This is a walking place with a beautiful view of the bay, many cafes, restaurants, small shops and even attractions.
But the main highlight of the area is the Maritime Museum and the Aquarium.
The museum will be interesting for both adults and children. Here you will find diving gear, seashells, pearls, and much more to do with sailors.
A huge two-story aquarium will not leave anyone indifferent either. The decor creates the illusion of walking on the seabed, with water reservoirs built into the walls and ceiling. There are many colorful coral reefs and exotic fish around. Unusual and exciting!
There is a beach near the sights. It is especially popular with tourists because of its cleanliness and variety of entertainment.
In general, this is a fairly calm and comfortable area for living, where you can relax and spend time with benefit.
