Al Majaz district is located in the very heart of Sharjah – at Buheira Conrniche. It is a nice place, very comfortable for life. Unlike some other regions of the UAE, the description of Al Majaz will not include anything about towering skyscrapers, steeply developed infrastructure or usual city buzz. Although all these aspects are still there, the highlight of Al Majaz is the opportunity to enjoy nature in the midst of the bustle of the city.
There are several parks in the districs where you can spend time walking with your family, riding amusement, playing sports and relax. The territory of these parks occupies a significant area and is surrounded by greenery.
In addition, the area is home to the iconic Al Majaz Waterfront, which is part of the park of the same name. First of all, everyone strives to walk along this location in order to see a hundred-meter fountain rising directly from the water of Khalid Lagoon. It ranks second in height in the UAE and fourth in the world. In the evening, an impressive show of fountains unfolds in front of those walking here. There are also many cozy cafes and restaurants where you can grab a bite during show breaks.
