Al Noor Island has been built by the concept of nature, it is creating a peaceful and calm haven for visitors. Sprawled out scenically on the Khalid Lagoon (Buhaira Corniche) in Sharjah, Al Noor Island houses exotic butterflies, artistic sculptures, maze gardens, magical illuminations, literary treasures, and more.
The Butterfly House promises to educate and mesmerize both adults and children as it showcases the various species brought in from several parts of the world. The Literature Pavilion will bring out the intellectual with its serenity and cultural elements, and children can unleash their energies in a dedicated playground.
The Island hosts eight unique sculptures by some of the world’s most famous artists including the egg-shaped OVO art. While Noor Café offers drinks and snacks for the whole family with easy access through land and sea, Al Noor Island is a place for the whole family. After all, at night the 45,470 square meters Island features LEDs and other light installations and paintings that bring the island to life.
