Featuring a lively and vibrant atmosphere and located not so far from the traditional Central Souk, Al Majaz Waterfront is a popular place of leisure among both local residents and tourists. Its long list of attractions include the spectacular Sharjah Musical Fountain, a variety of international restaurants, cafés and snack kiosks, a jogging track, a beautiful Al Taqwa mosque, Maraya Art Park and children’s Splash Park. In addition, Al Majaz Waterfront is famous for its wonderful green grass fields and palm valleys used for relaxation, a children’s playground and mini golf area, as well as areas for hosting regular events and activities.
Sharjah Fountain is one of the biggest fountains in the Gulf. Launched in the late 70s, it is still considered to be an iconic attraction in Sharjah and continues to fascinate local residents and visitors. In addition, there are cybernetic fountains spanning more than 220 meters wide that overlook Al Majaz Waterfront. Visitors can enjoy fountain shows that combine lasers, light, video, audio and movement to create a truly mesmerizing experience.
Al Majaz Waterfront hosts a variety of exciting events, concerts and festivals throughout the year, attracting hundreds of visitors and tourists from the whole world.
Launched by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) in 2010, Al Majaz Waterfront is a great place to visit for individuals and families of all ages.
