Snoopy Island is also called Snoopy Rock because of the resemblance to the cartoon character Snoopy lying on his back. The size of the outcropping rock is about 120m x 80m. Snoopy Island is situated a hundred meters from the Sandy Beach Hotel at Al Aqah, within a 2-hour drive from Dubai.
Near the island, different water sports and activities are available: snorkeling, professional and amateur diving allowing to enjoy crystal clear water and incredibly beautiful coral reefs.
