Theatre by QE2 will provide the classic story “Beauty & The Beast” (Facebook), which is still relevant for youth and adults. It tells about a handsome young prince who was turned into a monstrous beast by a mysterious enchantress for selfish actions. And only if he falls in love with someone and earn their love in return, the curse will be lifted.
This musical play will feature all-known events starting from Beauty who stumbles upon the castle and is taken prisoner by the Beast whilst searching for her father. Also, there will Beast’s servants, cursed to be household items, who will help Beauty to appreciate and love the Beast. The main characters will see confrontation with Gaston who wants to kill the Beast and marry Belle himself, but as always there is a happy ending.
*From December 16 to 27, Theatre by QE2 will present the play twice a day at 11:00 AM & 03:00 PM.
