Theatre plays in Dubai

Dubai Opera is delighted to present a contemporary interpretation of Shakespeare's classic, Macbeth, taking the stage from the 3rd to the 5th of November.

Get ready to be captivated by a unique adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's beloved fairy tale - The Little Mermaid, as it comes to life on stage at The Theatre by QE2.

Barmy Britain show is back to Dubai stage with a brand new world premiere full of crazy new characters and rude new rulers from Britain’s barmy past. This brand new production in the Horrible Histories series is a fabulously fun piece of educational theatre, based on the bestselling books written by Terry Deary.

This theatrical play will include lots of riddles and rhymes. Follow Alice and the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole, take tea with the Mad Hatter, see double with Tweedledum and Tweedledee, but beware the evil Queen of Hearts. This West end cast will bring this all-favorite children’s tale to life and turn the QE2 into a wonderland!

Danny & The Deep Blue Sea is a dark comedy about two individuals meeting at a very trying period of time in their life. One of them is a brooding, self-loathing young man who resorts more to violence than reason. Another one is a divorced, guilt-ridden young woman whose troubled teenage son is now being cared for by her parents.

Officially licensed by the main production of the Broadway and West End, written by Harold Pinter and directed by young starlet Sikendar Hemani, this play brings together a star cast for the first time sharing the stage including Meghana Mundkur, Ahmar Iqbal and Asad Raza Khan. The backstage crew includes Anusha Azees, with Vaishali Balgu as the Assisting Director. The artwork was done by Sarfaraz Ahmed.

The Paddyman is famous for playing a wild mix of songs that people can sing along and party to - with an Irish twist! Celebrate the Irish month on the beautiful QE2 in Dubai and sing along to your favorite hits with Paddyman. 

Theatre by QE2 will provide the classic story "Beauty & The Beast" (Facebook), which is still relevant for youth and adults. It tells about a handsome young prince who was turned into a monstrous beast by a mysterious enchantress for selfish actions. And only if he falls in love with someone and earn their love in return, the curse will be lifted.
