The Cultural Foundation is proud to present a series of workshops with Ahmed Ba Fadhl, who will teach basic techniques of manipulation and transformation for images and pictures, using Adobe Photoshop methods to create a unique artwork. Through the photoshop classes with a professional artist, participants will develop and enhance their skills and talents in the fields of art, design, and animation.

NYU Abu Dhabi Institute organizes talk session "Petrostates: The Rise and Fall of OPEC in the 20th Century" on September 20.

Âme Artistic Studio will welcome everyone for a special Ikebana workshop, the traditional and ancient Japanese art of flower arrangement, by using fall-inspired blossoms and foliage. All participants will be able to create and compose their own Ikebana floral arrangement using the technique and style taught by the instructor.

From Saturday to Thursday, Alserkal Avenue and Ishara Art Foundation present the exhibition of artworks that invokes relationship to reading and remembering as collective acts of resistance. The title of the show is inspired by a verse by poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz written during his imprisonment in Montgomery Central Jail in Pakistan.

Starting from September 19 to October 10, Alserkal Avenue will provide Art Exhibition titled "New Waves: Mohamed Melehi and the Casablanca Art School Archives".

For the new season, Alserkal Lates 2020 will present the best galleries for the whole day displaying unique works of art, design, and music. All visitors are welcomed to discuss and enjoy the beautiful day to celebrate music, art and culture featuring new concepts, new techniques and new genres.

The 2-day workshop will be instructed by Kathleen Hoare who is a corporate photographer shooting for private clients as well as major international brands. This workshop is aimed at developing navigation in the Lightroom interface through importing, organizing, exporting catalog system and simplifying the editing process.

Gulf Photo Plus will provide a one-day workshop "Shooting and Developing Film" on September 5.
