Ras Al Khaimah Triathlon

The 2nd edition of the Ras Al Khaimah Triathlon will be held on January 15, 2021, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa, Al Marjan Island.

The event promises to be scenic as participants can swim in the calm waters of the Arabian Gulf, bike on the traffic-free palmed tree-lined roads and finish with a run on the designated running track just meters away from the water’s edge with stunning ocean views. This flat course promises to be accommodating for beginners as well as those in the advanced levels.

Information about the Ras Al Khaimah Triathlon:

• Competitors can receive their race pack directly at their home or on the day of the event;
• It will contain a timing chip, race Bib, swim Cap, race towel, shirt and a snack voucher;
• There is no provision for bag drop
• There are separate rules for the swimming, biking and running sections of the race;
• Social distancing rules will be followed throughout the day.

Different groups for the Ras Al Khaimah Triathlon:

• Junior super sprint (180m Swim – 5km Cycle – 1.25km Run);
• Super sprint (375m Swim – 10km Cycle – 2.5km Run);
• Sprint (750m Swim – 20km Cycle – 5km Run);
• Olympic (1.5km Swim – 40km Cycle – 10km Run).

There is a relay for all these groups in which the participants can take part as teams of 2-3 members. The maximum age limit for the junior super sprint is 12 years and for the rest of the races the minimum age limit is 18 years. Registration for the event will close on January 12, 2021.
