It has been a tough year in 2020 but one thing that’s got us through is a good laugh. Luckily in Dubai, there are loads of great comedy shows on offer to put a smile back on our faces and keep us laughing all the way to 2021. Now, one of the most popular comedians on the UAE comedy scene is going it alone to perform her first full-length stand-up comedy special. Filipina comedian, Imah Dumagay, organizer of Comedy Kix comedy night at Kickers, is set to perform her first hour-long show.
This show is in celebration of International Women’s Day where Imah will take us on an amusing journey as she recounts her ridiculous encounters for the three hats that she wears – a Filipino, a comedian, and a woman! Taking place at The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates, Imah will be the first Filipina comedian to perform a stand-up special in the region.
The Theatre is the innovative, new hub of the Gulf. This is a home for local theatre lovers, art lovers, musicians, and business people who have recognized the need for the city and future generations of Dubai to have an entertainment and educational hub.
We invite all UAE-based singers, bands, DJs, comedians, influencers, promoters, and other performers based in UAE to showcase their talents at Comingsoon.ae!
