The Half Hours: 3 Stand-Up Comedy Specials

Dubomedy presents The Half Hours: 3 Stand-Up Comedy Specials on May 3 at the special pop-up venue at DIFC Gate Avenue.

Dubomedy celebrates its 11th birthday by presenting three alumni comedians as they debut their 30-minute Stand-up Comedy Specials! The performance will be filmed Live featuring brand-new specials by Mish’al Eskander, Sundeep Fernandes and Liz Bains.

Mish’al is a Saudi national who has been living in Dubai since 2000. He is an emcee, stand-up comedian, and actor. Sundeep has been performing comedy for over 8 years. Out of 100 comedians, he’s been crowned “funniest comedian” two years in a row by the S+S Comedy Fest. British expat Liz finds people laugh at her even when she is trying to make a serious point. She did her first five minutes of stand-up comedy in 2015 after graduating from Dubomedy’s comedy course and hasn’t stopped since. The show will be co-hosted by Dubomedy’s founders Ali Al Sayed and Mina Liccione.

Attendees should expect a full house of laughter and a truly memorable night celebrating diversity, imperfections and life’s blunders through observational humour. It’ll be a lasting experience as the audience gets to be part of the live recordings.

Two more comedy events from Dubomedy will also take place this weekend. Comedy Mix-Tape bil 3arabi on May 4 at 05:00 PM. And Last Comedy Mix-Tape of the season on May 4 at 07:30 PM. The show is a blend of stand-up, improv’ comedy games and live music.
