The guests of the Fair are traditionally the most famous writers and cultural figures from different countries. Visitors can not only meet with their favorite authors, artists, or celebrities but also participate in seminars on various topics related to cultural trends, learn a lot from panel discussions, attend poetry and theater evenings, and much more. An extensive cultural program awaits visitors of the Fair, including an interesting program of events for children.
American TV host Steve Harvey has been announced the Principal Guest of Honour of the Sharjah International Book Fair. Lebanese author and critic, Dr. Yumna Al Eid, has been declared the Cultural Personality of the Year. The event will be attended by many famous personalities – Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, best-selling author Robin Sharma, winner of Master Chef Pankaj Bhadouria, Oscar-winning Indian film director Gulzar and many more.
