Neil LaBute’s spectacle “Shape of Things” will be performed at The Junction. There will be a unique love story that focuses on human behavior. The play is directed by Sarah Potter, featuring Juan Mario Silva as Adam, Genette Harrison as Evelyn, Satya Baskaran as Phillip and Falaq Tahir as Jenny.
A dark comedy tells a story about love and friendship, and how the two often don’t mix well. It’s about small-town college students being young and naive and impressionable, and not really knowing who they are or what they really want. The main topics covered in play “The Shape of Things” are the nature of stoicism, art, psychopathy, intimacy, explorations of love.
In addition, this spectacle showcases how people sometimes weave a tangled web of truth to build their own world, and people’s attitude changing depends on appearance despite our denials of what affects us, the shape of things. ,
