The purpose of the event is to strengthen ties between the UAE and Morocco in all areas, political, cultural, economic, touristic and others. Guests of the event will be able to learn more about Morocco, the culture of the country, it’s present, past and future, to get acquainted with its beautiful architecture, music, art, fashion, museums, cuisine, and rich traditions.
Morocco in Abu Dhabi is welcomed by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and held under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of Morocco and with the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
Morocco in Abu Dhabi will also present late-night music concerts on April 18-19 on A’l Bahar, Abu Dhabi Corniche from 09:00 PM till 12:00 AM. The concert will be showcasing a range of emotional musical performances which will take the audience on a musical and cultural journey through the Kingdom of Morocco’s cultural, traditional, and contemporary characteristics.
