Gulf Photo Plus presents a 5-day photography camp for teens on August 23-27.
Instructed by photographers, Laura Huntley, and Raz Hansrod this workshop is aimed at students aged 14+, which can develop creativity through photography, have fun through teamwork, and discover a new hobby. Students will get practical skills in using camera functions and explore their art ideas.
Camp Programme:
August 23: Mobile photography & editing apps
August 24: Learning semi-manual camera modes (aperture priority mode and shutter priority mode)
August 25: Going full manual mode
August 26: Natural Light Portraiture (reflectors and diffusers)
August 27: Studio Photography & Creative DIY Lighting
For this workshop, participants will need:
– DSLR or mirrorless camera with fully-charged battery (point-and-shoot cameras and smartphones are not suitable);
– Empty memory card for your camera;
– A smartphone or iPad with the free ‘Snapseed’ app installed;
– Smartphone/iPad charger;
– Notebook & pen.
Gulf Photo Plus operates on 50% capacity, so the places are limited. Visitors, staff and teachers have to wear a mask and a two-meter distance should be maintained between people at all times.
