Avega Dance Creations is a Dubai-based, locally-grown dance theatre production house, an Indian fusion dance-theatre company and workshop boutique. The production is united by a common theme – journey. That is how the word Yatra is translated from Sanskrit. Viewers will see eight short stories telling of significant in one sense or another journey, physical, emotional, or spiritual, in which artists have been or have been witnesses.
The company pledges a deep-rooted commitment to soulful storytelling that mirrors everyday life and has received wide appreciation for its previous productions RaaS and Dear Goodbye. For Yatra, talent from different dance genres like India classical, contemporary, b-boying, and hip hop will converge.
