For the new season, Alserkal Lates 2020 will present the best galleries for the whole day displaying unique works of art, design, and music. All visitors are welcomed to discuss and enjoy the beautiful day to celebrate music, art and culture featuring new concepts, new techniques and new genres.

Dubai Opera has announced the performance of the pioneers of Jazz - Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club with show program “Giants Of Jazz”. Since the creation in 1959, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club succeeded in the world with ground-breaking concerts performing modern jazz and jazz fusion. Making its way to Dubai Opera, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club will showcase the musical journey through the last 100 years of jazz.

Front Row Laughter Nights is back with the first socially distanced live event featuring one of the most renowned Indian comedy - Abhishek Upmanyu. After his previous sold-out show in Dubai, Abhishek is back to kill it with never before seen content, which will make everyone laugh out loud.

The King & Queen Swim is a multi-distance activity that offers several race options for the different ages and training levels. The Arabian Gulf waters will see great competition where the King and Queen of the Pointe will be crowned at this mile swim on the day. All ages from 8 years old welcome with a variety of swim distances for all abilities.

On September 18, the Riding School will officially open for the new season and offers different activities for the whole family. The slots are limited, so visitors have to pre-book a place before 17 Sept 2020. All visitors are encouraged to wear sneakers or closed-toe shoes with a small heel and long pants.

The Junction will see three short plays in Hindi written by Saadat Hasan Manto, who is well known for his writings on the Indian Partition. Having experienced several political changes following independence, he wrote satirical pieces and essays on many social topics. Udaan announces an evening of short plays, exploring different themes to display Manto’s satirical writings and views.

"Fitness 4 EveryBody" is a special campaign, launched to make the UAE fitness industry more accessible for all and encourage UAE residents to keep healthy and strong in the wake of the pandemic. The event and its program give an opportunity to choose any sports activity for FREE. This campaign lasts during the weekend from 17 to 20 September 2020.

The Women’s Sports Committee of Dubai Sports Council has announced a special badminton tournament for ladies - The Women’s Shuttle Time Championship.

Lebanese/American stand-up comedian Nemr Abou Nassar is coming to Dubai with a fresh program. Nemr is known to make fun of politics, social issues, and his experiences in the Middle East and the US in his material, mixing humor with observations.

Anghami and Sony announced a huge fundraiser concert in support of suffered Lebanese after the latest explosion which took place in August. In its turn, Vox Cinemas will be live streaming the performances of local and international artists to raise more money for the cause. Visitors can catch lifestream at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif and Yas Mall, with all proceeds donated to Global Aid for Lebanon in collaboration with the UN’s World Food Program.
