Pink Run is an annual race of 5 km and 10 km distances which is held in acknowledging Breast Cancer Awareness. The event traditionally attracts over 1,500 runners and walkers. Proceeds from the Run are donated to the Al Jalila Foundation for Breast Cancer Initiatives.
This year besides regular 5km and 10km run, there will be hosted a kids’ special 1 Mile run starting and finishing outside the Abu Dhabi International Tennis Complex, with views of the iconic Zayed Football Stadium and overlooking world-class rugby pitches.
Every participant receives a bespoke Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Shirt, a very special finishers’ medal, post-run/walk refreshments and a special commemorative gift. The top 3 in each age group will also be acknowledged with a special trophy and podium presentation upon completion of the event.
Event schedule:
• 05:30 AM – Registration Check-in;
• 07:00 AM – 10 km run start;
• 07:05 AM – 5 km run start;
• 07:30 AM – Mile for a Smile (additional run specially designed for kids) start .
