Sharjah Heritage Museum has six galleries covering the local lifestyle, celebrations, traditional knowledge, religion, and folklore of Sharjah.
Situated in the very heart of Sharjah, The Heritage Museum presents a variety of authentic artifacts with explanations in both English and Arabic. Among the exhibits, visitors can discover local textiles, al manyour, a belt made from 307 dried goat hooves worn during the noban dance, and aftakh, a golden toe ring worn by Bedouin women.
Visitors of all ages can enjoy engaging folk tales and local proverbs, as well as games and puzzles.
