This is a seriously cool venue with industrial-style design and huge colorful murals on the walls. There’s not a red chequered tablecloth in sight, and we’re very happy about it. The staff help make the experience here, too, with plenty of chat and recommendations to be had. The menu is filled with rustic-sounding dishes, but what comes out of the kitchen is presented in a modern way.
Traditionalists will be happy to hear that top-quality ingredients are used with little extraneous fuss and given the chance to show off on their own merits. We love the sesame-crusted tuna fillet and the paccheri with aubergine and burrata is a wonderfully filling pasta dish. They also serve the Sicilian sweet treat cannoli, which, with an espresso, is the perfect way to end any meal.
