The first thing you’ll probably notice about Kickers, other than the fantastically friendly staff, is the sheer scale of it. Some bars with a long, linear layout can have the feel of an airport departures lounge but this joint in Dubai Sports City is far from uniform. Kitted out with a range of seating options meaning groups, couples and “me-timers” are all welcome, Kickers is massively unpretentious and quite simply a lot of fun.
This fact is reflected in the “onesies” food offers. A pitcher of chili con carne might sound like it’s one step short of a fry-up on a shovel, but trust us, it’s great for sharing/devouring with your famished friends.
