Health & Fitness Fun Festival 2017 will take place from 27th February to 27th March 2017 in different locations across UAE.
February 27 – Health & Fitness Fun Walk on the Corniche of the seven emirates.
February 27- March 6, 13, 20 – Mini Medical School.
February 28 – 2 March – Health Awareness by Ministry of Education in various locations across the UAE.
March 2 – 4 – Community Health Awareness in Yas Mall and Delma Mall in Abu Dhabi and Bawadi Mall in Al Ain.
March 7 – Health & Fitness Fun Cycling Night at Yas Marina Circuit.
The main event will take place from 8th to 11th of March at the Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi.
Health & Fitness Fun Festival is held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training – ACTVET.
The Health & Fitness Fun Festival is the most high profile health-focused event in the UAE. Held annually for the duration of one month, the Festival brings together health and fitness enthusiasts, medical experts, fitness clubs, organisations focused on healthy living, nutritionists and chefs to promote health awareness and fitness while having fun.
The 2017 edition of the Festival will celebrate ‘Happiness’ in line with the UAE Vision 2021 National Agenda that puts Happiness* as the first KPI on the priorities list of a “Cohesive Society and Preserved Identity”. This year’s motto ‘Take Healthy Actions to Happiness’ emphasises that living healthier is bound to make you more energetic, more productive and happier.
Participants of the Health & Fitness Fun Festival will enjoy a month full of thematic activities: free health awareness and fitness classes, workshops about eating healthier and finding a healthy weight, experts’ tips about lifestyle changes that can help you prevent disease and lower stress, free medical testing, healthy home recipes by famous chefs, and much more plus loads of fun!
