The Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee has announced to host a special concert at the Al Majaz Amphitheatre in Sharjah to mark the 49th UAE National Day celebrations in the Emirate. The concert will feature such local talents as Hussain Al Jassmi, Aryam, Jassim Mohamad, Faisal Al Jasim and Oraib. Together, they will take the audience through the journey of the creation of the nation performing Emirati songs which are popular locally and internationally.
All proceeds of the concert will be donated to The Big Heart Foundation – a global humanitarian charity dedicated to helping refugees and people in need. The organization was founded by HH Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Eminent Advocate for Refugee Children at the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Hussain Al Jassmi is an Emirati pianist, compositor, musician and singer. His fame began in 1996, transferring his voice and music from the local to the Arab world. Hussain was the first Arab artist to perform in the Vatican’s Annual Christmas concert and is also a goodwill ambassador for Emirates Red Crescent. Hussain Al Jassmi will take the stage along with the other young artists: Aryam, Faisal Al Jasim, Jassim Mohammed and Oraib.
The concert will be held adhering strictly to all the precautionary health and safety measures approved by the Emirate of Sharjah.
