The Emirates Kids Run is envisioned as an event that enhances a children’s fun run with unique licensed and unlicensed entertainment and edutainment focused on arts and craft skills, healthy eating habits and influencing a love for reading.
The aim of the run is to encourage the UAE’s children to do the more physical activity, improve their health, and learn more about the dangers of obesity, all while enjoying a fun day out with the family.
The run will take place with two distances – 1000m and 1500m. There will be four different age groups, of 6-7 years, 8-9 years, 10-11 years, and 12-13 years. The little ones can join in the fun too, with a 400m Toddler Trot for kids aged 3-4, and The Baby Bolt, a 10m crawling track for children aged 9-12 months.
