Dubai Pet Festival 2020

Pets and their owners can spend the day together at the ‘Dubai pet festival’, on December 18 at Al Warsan, Dubai.

The Dubai Pet Festival is going to be all about pet owners and their animal friends. There will be presentations and demonstrations by experts and groups as well as different kinds of competitions. Children and visitors can interact with farm animals, exotic pets and birds at the Petting Farm area during the day. Furry models along with their human counterparts will showcase the latest trends of the pet world in a choreographed fashion show. The entry is free but a registration fee is present for the competitions.

Please note that these Rules will be strictly followed:

• All pets entering the venue should be registered at the entrance;
• They should undergo vet check and show vaccination proof;
• Dogs will undergo a character assessment, according to which red, yellow or green ribbon will be tied to their collar or harness;
• Cats should be carried in cat carriers;
• Officials/organizers can refuse entry for anyone without giving any reason;
• No wild animals or endangered species will be permitted.

Some major competitions of Dubai Pet Festival are:

• World Kennel Union championship dog show (rules);
• Dog obedience challenge (rules);
• Dog agility competitions (rules);
• Feline beauty contest (rules);
• Fancy dress competition for pets & owners.

There is almost AED 20,000 worth of Hill’s pet food to be won at these competitions. The main aim of the event is to raise awareness of animal welfare and educate individuals about pet products, food, health, etc. The festival was made to cater to the needs of today’s pet owners and pet-related industry while keeping in mind all the visual, educational and networking possibilities.
