The Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club is a state-of-the-art polo and equestrian community with Polo Academy, a Riding School, and 520 modern stables. Polo Academy will offer exclusive polo facilities and four world-class polo fields which meet all the specifications needed for local and international players.
The Open Day is a perfect opportunity for kids (5 y.o. and above) and adults to try out Sport of Kings and Queens with Professional Polo Coach, Tomas Palacios Bacque. The slots are limited due to precautionary measures, so visitors have to pre-book a place before 1st October 2020.
The Polo Academy Program:
04:00 PM – 04:15 PM: Registration
04:15 PM – 04:35 PM: Learn the basics of polo
04:35 PM – 04:55 PM: Try your first polo swing off the horse (on a hay bale)
04:55 PM – 05:55 PM: Saddle up and try your swing on a horse* or enjoy a game of foot polo
06:00 PM – 06:20 PM: Watch a Polo Demo
*Subject to the assessment of Polo Academy Coach
All visitors are encouraged to wear sneakers or closed-toe shoes with a flat sole and long pants. Guests are required to observe social distancing and to wear masks at all times.
