1001 Inventions and the Book of Animals Exhibition is taking place at Al-Ain Zoo from 15 February to 6 March.
“1001 Inventions and the Book of Animals” is a fun interactive exhibition that brings to life one of the oldest and most fascinating Arabic manuscripts.
The Arabic ‘Book of Animals’ was written by the 9th-century scholar and explorer Al-Jahiz.
The new exhibition is produced by 1001 Inventions, the award-winning international organisation, and offers an exciting educational experience taking audiences on a wondrous journey of discovery. The whole family can engage in exhibits and activities that uncover amazing facts and myths about animals, learn about Al-Jahiz and be inspired by the Golden Age of knowledge from Muslim Civilisation. Children can create their own book of animals, challenge themselves to solve riddles and immerse themselves in interactive games.
