The 10th edition of the festival is celebrated under the theme ‘The Journey’ highlighting the decade-long run and the country turning 50 years young. The 2022 Festival is scheduled for February 4th – March 31st. More than 150 artists from across the world showcase what this theme means to them through their art. The RAKFAF also includes:
Themed Weekends include traditional storytelling, Arabic coffee making, camel rides, and immersive local theatre performances.

Basic art workshop to create an original work of art of your beloved pet. Participants will be guided through a step-by-step process of how to create a custom portrait of their pet. We will explore the visual composition of your pet, learning how to draw features such as fur and faces. Using pencils, acrylic, or water-based paints, participants have the free choice to select the medium they would like for creating their very own design.

Bring your leashed dog for a stroll around the Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival site! This outing gives owners and their pets to take a closer look at some of the 150+ Artworks exhibited in Al Jazirah Al Hamra Heritage Village. Rules to follow: All pets must remain on a leash at all times, please bring water for you and your pet and clean up after your pet. Wear comfortable shoes.

Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival is established to bring the community together to celebrate art, create opportunities for cultural exchange, and support the creative and artistic sectors of the emirate. An initiative of the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research, the Festival is an integral part of the Foundation’s mission is to contribute to the cultural development of Ras Al Khaimah.
