Brett Schafer, the CEO of Faisal Holding, which owns the HMH, have spoken to the media and said that the hotel “is very much along the lines of the future, where we [HMH] believe the hospitality industry is going”. He also said “it’s sustainable and eco-friendly, as well as experiential for a guest” and “it will incorporate all the latest in digital technology and of course sustainability as far as energy is concerned”.
Aboudi Asali, the CEO of HMH, says that the hotel will also try to target people who are looking for the mid-market accommodations while their stay in Dubai. He also hopes that this hotel will serve as a good example to expand the ECOS brand hotels across the region.
According to the company, the project is on its final development stages and should be ready to begin the construction in three months.
