Instructed by photographer, Wilbur Smith, students will learn how to shoot and edit professional videos. These 2-day workshops will be useful both for fresh vloggers or photographers, as during classes you will discover differences in lenses, capturing motion, frame rates, filmmaking theory, formats, and resolution, lighting, and more.
Also, there will be theory and practice using the latest experience on cohesive storytelling, editing films, adding music and scheduling transitions in order to package your creation for the audience. Through in-class exercises, you will be able to create your own short film.
For these workshops, you will need:
• DSLR or mirrorless camera with fully-charged battery (point-and-shoot cameras and smartphones are not suitable);
• Extra camera batteries;
• Headphones;
• Empty memory card for your camera (SD cards should be class 6 or higher & CF cards should be 400x or faster);
• Laptop with a fully charged battery;
• Adobe Premier (pre-downloaded & fully functioning on your laptop);
• Laptop charger;
• Laptop mouse (optional);
• Tripod (optional);
• On-camera microphone (optional);
