The Fridge Concert Series Season 31

The Fridge presents its 31st concert series featuring Samvel Gasparyan, Leoné Murphy, Brittany Anjou Trio, SP McGhee, Martyn Crocker, and Amjad Shakir from 27 January to 17 February 2020.

The Fridge Concert Series is back with the new edition from 27th January. Starting the season with new melodies of Dubai based performer Samvel Gasparyan. Season 31 of The Fridge Concert series includes numerous artists and takes place every Monday from 27 January till 17 February.

• January 27: Samvel Gasparyan Jazz Trio
Samvel Gasparyan Trio will perform live with The Great American Songbook – An Evening of Jazz kicking off Season 31. Samvel Gasparyan is a renowned performer, Armenian-born jazz pianist, and composer, who has won numerous awards, worked on 11 studio albums and toured over 40 countries.

• February 3: Leoné Murphy (single laugh) and Alex
A multi-talented songstress is to set up the main stage on the second night of Season 31. Having always worked on her own original compositions, Leoné Murphy effortlessly transitions from pop and contemporary to classical and folk and now is well-known for her touching covers. The musician will be supported by singer&songwriter Alex.

• February 8: Brittany Anjou Trio: Enamigo Reciprokataj
Pianist composer and Brooklyn-based trio will perform their Esperanto original compositions “Enamigo Reciprokataj”, in support of the release of this visionary, creative piano trio album on Origin Records.

• February 10: SP McGhee and Martyn Crocker
An acoustic guitar player, electronic producer, and singer, SP McGhee, will present the way how his EP titled “These Are Not Wars”, solo acoustic ballads and full-band performances were woven together to create an epic song-writing journey.
Another musical artist, Martyn Crocker, will showcase his alternative-rock hits. Martyn has two albums and numerous singles, effortlessly walking on the line between melodic vulnerability and intensity with lyrical and performance gusto to be reckoned with.

• February 17: Amjad Shakir
The Sudanese singer and songwriter will be closing off this season. Amjad Shakir Qurashi is a versatile multicultural artist performing his originals in both English and Arabic. His unique sounding will be familiar by John Legend’s “All of Me” cover with 200,000 views on YouTube.
