English pop-rock band The 1975 will play their first-ever Middle East show on August 14 at Coca-Cola Arena.

The group’s performance at the Coca-Cola Arena will take place in the frames of their world tour, which currently conquers the best venues in different countries. Grammy and Mercury Prize-nominated band, The 1975 have picked up two Brit Awards earlier this year for Best British Group and Best British Album of the year for the album A Brief History into Online Relationships.

The cutting-edge four-piece from Manchester, led by the ever-dynamic Matt “Matty” Healey on vocals, has been touring and releasing music as The 1975 since 2012, although the band has been playing together since 2002 under various monikers. Their sound, which is a hybrid of soulful rhythm and blues meets rock and pop, combined with three number one albums, each taking the listener on an authentic musical journey where no two songs sound alike, has projected the band into celebrity status. The 1975 are without doubt one of the most exciting live bands in the world right now and those attending the gig can expect a high energy performance of enigmatic songs with a backdrop of the phenomenal stage production, in a show that is receiving rave reviews everywhere.
