American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer Russell Vitale, better known by his stage name Russ, returns to the emirate with his first headline show. He is recognizable for his raspy, hardbody rap flow, and lilting, almost drunken singing voice. All songs containing hip hop and R&B elements combining rapping and singing on the hook, the producer wrote and performed by himself.
He is known for such famous singles as “What They Want” which peaked at number 83 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and “Losin Control”, number 62 on the US Billboard Hot 100, which is his highest-charting single. Russ’s twelfth studio album ‘There’s Really a Wolf’ has become number seven on the US Billboard 200 and number four on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. Moreover, the album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the United States.
