Nigel Ng, a Malaysian stand-up comedian and content creator based in London, skyrocketed to fame in 2020 with his viral portrayal of Uncle Roger, a middle-aged Asian man hilariously reviewing an egg-fried rice video. His YouTube channel has garnered an impressive 250 million views, and he boasts a combined social media following of over 8 million.
As a stand-up comedian, Nigel Ng received a nomination for the Best Newcomer Award at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival for his sold-out show. He has since continued to sell out performances across the UK and Europe. His TV appearances include Comedy Central’s Stand Up Central and Roast Battle, BBC Two’s Mock the Week, and ITV’s Jonathan Ross Comedy Club.
