The Arabic play tells a story of a young woman and a girl, each living a very different life and both being distracted and frustrated. Omniya is a twenty-year-old that dreams of being a young girl again, free from responsibilities and spoiled by her parents like her young sister is. Ahlam is a ten-year-old made to deny childish freedom as she cares for her ill father. She dreams of becoming older and able to escape the confines of her familial obligations.
After all, a mystical curse befalls them giving Ahlam and Omniya what they wished. It has switched their bodies of one another, being in a sister’s body and living her life helps girls to realize that the grass is not always greener on the other side. In addition, such a journey brings Ahlam and Omniya that lacked values of patience and perseverance. As a result, they will come to a thought, that the best choice is facing one’s destiny bravely and positively.
