Following his sold-out Off the Record show in 2023, Trevor Noah, one of the most successful comedians globally, returns to the UAE for a one-night-only performance on Wednesday, 28 February. Known for his wit, charm, and insightful humor, Trevor Noah hosted the Emmy® Award-winning “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central for seven years, breaking free from the traditional 30-minute linear show format to produce engaging social content, digital series, podcasts, and more.
Trevor Noah is not only a brilliant comedian but also an accomplished author. His #1 New York Times bestseller, “Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood,” and its young readers’ adaptation have received critical acclaim and widespread readership, selling over 3 million copies across all formats. The Audible edition of “Born a Crime,” performed by Trevor himself, remains one of the top-selling and most-commented-on Audible performances of all time.
In addition to his comedic prowess, Trevor Noah hosts the original Spotify weekly podcast, “What Now? With Trevor Noah,” where he engages in deep conversations with special guests, offering listeners a chance to hear him like never before. Trevor’s success extends to sold-out stand-up comedy shows across five continents, with his current “Off The Record” World Tour making stops in various cities across the US and international destinations.
Trevor Noah’s impact in the comedy world is evident in his numerous comedy specials, including the Emmy-nominated “I Wish You Would” on Netflix, where he hilariously shares insights about learning German, modern communication, and his love for curry. His previous special, “Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia,” received accolades such as a NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Variety Show and a Grammy Award nomination.
