The silver anniversary will be represented by a lineup of events and entertainment, fireworks and many other activities. The closing weekend also features the DSF final sale that will run from January 30 to February 1, during which shoppers can avail up to 90 percent discounts.
Among others, there will be such singers as John Legend and Syrian singer Faia Younan at the Coca-Cola Arena to mark the end of the festival on Friday, January 31.
Meanwhile, Saudi singer Ayed Yousef will captivate audiences at the Global Village on January 31 at the main stage.
Art lovers can preview Liz Pichon’s illustrations come to life during an on-stage production of “Tom Gates” at the Theatre in Mall of the Emirates from January 28 to February 1.
At the same time, the “Basant Festival” will take place in Wahat Al Zaweya on Dubai-Al Ain road on January 30 from 06:00 AM to 03:00 PM, and on January 31 from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM. Visitors will get to fly kites of varied colors and shapes.
Theatrical production “Mughal-e-Azam” will go live at Dubai Opera from January 30 to February 1.
To close shopping weekend, DSF will showcase firework displays from January 30 to February 1 at The Frame (07:30 PM), The Beach (08:30 PM), La Mer (09:30 PM) and Al Seef 10:30 PM).
