The main character of the play is a rich bourgeois, Mr. Jourdain intends to acquire the manners of quality people.
Tailleur Pour Dames: to hide the beginning of an affair with one of his clients, Dr. Moulineaux launches into a cascade of lies, pirouettes and cover-ups in the face of his wife, his mother-in-law, the husband of his mistress, the lover of the latter was once his.
