The VC Weekend aims to increase professional VC investors’ understanding of the Middle Eastern startup ecosystem through a series of events with diverse topics: closed investor dinners and networking sessions, business conferences, startup pitches, and an exclusive boat party. It will bring together investors from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Russia, United States, Africa, Ukraine, Morocco, Turkey, Brazil, Lebanon, and other countries.
The main event Dubai Investor Day will be held on the 15th of October at the heart of Dubai, in hotel Four Seasons DIFC.
The first day of the workshop will focus on the latest developments in the food-tech industry.
The second day’s program will highlight the best ecosystem players to get the deals from. The third day will explore the business side of launching and running a VC in MENA from setting up a company to bringing investors on board.
An impressive list of speakers includes investors from notable venture capital firms, such as Shoroq Partners, Startup Bootcamp, EdVentures, Untapped Global, and 30+ VCs and angels. The third day will be held in Hub 71 – the leading tech hub in the region and top accelerator in the UAE. The most promising tech industry startups will pitch their projects and will be available for face-to-face meetings and networking with VC Weekend attendees.
There will also be private dinners, a party in the desert and on a yacht, personal match-making with investors and a lot of interesting things.
There are only 30 VC tickets, early birds until September 23, hurry up!
