Parents Allowed to Vaccinate Children in Cars Because of Coronavirus - Coming Soon in UAE
5 May 2020

So that parents in UAE can vaccinate young children without putting them at unnecessary risk, they can take advantage of the new service and get vaccinated without leaving their car.

This decision was made by the Ministry of Health and Prevention. A mobile e-clinic service for vaccination activities has been launched. In order not to visit medical centers and not to encounter a large number of people, parents can contact one of the health promotion centers. Thus, it is possible to arrange for the vaccination necessary according to the schedule for a child of 4, 6, 12, and 18 months.

After the parents’ contact, a meeting is scheduled with a team of medical specialists who meet the car near the health center. Then the doctors carry out the necessary examination and decide on the need for vaccination. If such vaccination is necessary, then the procedure is carried out on site, without the need for the child and parents to leave their own car. During the vaccination process, all precautionary measures will be followed to ensure the health of the babies and their parents.
