Visitors of Sharjah Natural History & Botanical Museum are welcome to explore plant life through its interactive displays, as well as learn how important trees, bushes, grasses, herbs, algae, and fungi are to us. The journey throughout the museum goes as the journey through time, which gives an opportunity to witness, how plants have evolved, adapted, and survived to become not just part of our landscape but as essential elements of our existence.
Sharjah Natural History & Botanical Museum has numerous displays of fossils, meteorites, taxidermic displays of rare animals, as well as desert ecosystems.
Its botanical garden is a journey on its own, It has nearly 100 different species of native plants, making it one of the most diverse and educative museums in Sharjah.
The museum is located in Sharjah Desert Park, one of the important tourist destinations in Sharjah. It also features a breeding center for endangered animals, the Islamic Botanical Garden, and a petting zoo in the children’s area with several summer activities for kids.
